In previous work I have played with archetypes, associations, form and colour to develop new concepts. With my children’s wear range it was the A-line dress, in my Design thesis, the Air Chair.

In my ceramic work, the cylinder quickly revealed itself as a form with good potential for play. I use it loosely to explore human relationships but also to experiment with function and flexible solutions; opening for different ways to use and interact with a vase, as in the Venn Diagram vase. The Venn Diagram vase made its debut at Ceramicus in 2019.
