A sudden thought that my pots may be around for hundreds of years sparked an urge to eternalise the soon relic plastic bag handle and petrol cap lid.

The Relic Teapot won the Innovation in Ceramics Award and the People’s Choice Award at Ceramicus 2019.

The plastic bag handle has since become a regular feature on my vases and teapots.
