PAUSE POP-UP SHOP

For 3 summer months in 2017/2018 and again in 2018/2019, I was fortunate to have a pop-up shop on the Wellington waterfront.

The pop-up shop was called P A U S E <”poe-seh”>. In Scandinavia, when you “pause”, you have a break from the hustle and bustle, like a morning tea, or an afternoon tea.

I enjoyed interactions with people ‘pausing’ at my shop, and the opportunity to develop my range and test new concepts in a continuous cycle of making and sending pieces off to all corners of the world. It was a great joy and an encouraging start to life as a potter.
